Vaccine mandates could direct to the valley losing a considerable part of it is really firefighters, EMT’s and Paramedics. That is what the Yakima Firefighters union is indicating in a letter to Governor Jay Inslee.

The Yakima Firefighters International Association of Firefighters Community 469 has posted the letter on Fb asking the governor to reconsider a vaccine mandate for firefighters, EMT’S and Paramedics in the Point out of Washington.Union officials say they are worried the mandate could direct to mass layoffs or resignations. Governor Jay Inslee declared the vaccine mandate on August 9 for all Firefighters, Paramedics and EMT’s.  All have to be absolutely vaccinated by October 1. NOT ALL FIREFIGHTERS, EMT’S AND PARAMEDICS WANT THE VACCINE

They say for the past 2 decades they’ve worked on the front traces of the battle in opposition to COVID-19 with insufficient funding and products but they have however been equipped to function. The letter signed by the union president and Chiefs from the West Valley and Selah Fireplace Departments claims although most Firefighters, EMT’s and Paramedics have been vaccinated some are versus the vaccine. The governor suggests those people who you should not get vaccinated could eliminate jobs. Union officers that’s a massive problem because the valley could lose a “considerable” part of Firefighters and other gurus leaving quite a few communities quite vulnerable.
